It’s our Giving Tuesday Fundraiser

Today is Giving Tuesday and on this most charitable day of the year the Orangutan Conservancy announces our inaugural online fundraiser.  By making your donation today, you’re helping to ensure that OC will continue to provide funding and logistical support to numerous projects on the ground in Borneo and Sumatra that are rescuing, releasing and accomplishing some of the most important field research on great apes in the world.

In 2016, the Orangutan Conservancy has helped to support amongst others The Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programme, the Orangutan Kutai Project, the Borneo Nature Foundation’s Orangutan Tropical Peatland Project, Orangutan Haven, and the Orangutan Information Center.  We also staged our 8th annual OC/OVAG Veterinary Workshop and had over 60 local wildlife healthcare workers in attendance – the very same frontline heroes that are today working tirelessly across Indonesia and Malaysia to heal and provide a better future to endangered orangutans.

In 2017 we will do even more because of your help today.  Together we can make the new year a pivotal one for the future of Asia’s remaining great apes.

If you haven’t done so already, please take a moment now and click on the “Donate Now” button above to show us that you believe in our ongoing mission.  We can only do the work that we do because of your commitment to the cause.  And if you do give, we’d love to post a photo of you and your own handmade sign (like the one above) on Facebook and Twitter showing that you gave to OC  on Giving Tuesday!
