2013 Virtual Adoption Updates Arrive

Putri Pur - fall 2013 M1050034 copy

Pur and Putri are two of the wild orangutans that are part of our virtual adoption program.  Mom Putri and son Pur are followed by the research team of the Orangutan Kutai Project in the Kutai National Park in East Kalimantan, Borneo.

By virtually adopting one of the Kutai orangutans you will help to support an important, long-term science for conservation effort that is dedicated to learning more about the ranging patterns of the easternmost subspecies of the endangered Bornean orangutan, Pongo pygmaeus morio.

We’ve just received the 2013 updates for all of the orangutans.  You can learn more about Pur, Putri and all of the orangutans on our virtual adoption page.
